Portrait and Portfolio Shoots

This session is ideal for personal portraits, headshots, or editorial-style shoots. It includes a consultation, a tailored photography experience, and retouched images.

Session Fee: £300 – £600

Includes:

  • Pre-shoot consultation to discuss wardrobe, styling, and goals for the session.

  • Up to 2 hours of shooting in the studio or on location.

  • Five fully retouched, high-resolution images.

  • Additional images are available for purchase at £35 per image.

  • Delivery of images within two weeks via a private online gallery.

Terms:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking, with the balance due on the day of the shoot.

  • Postponements or cancellations must be made 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. Cancellations within this period will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling is allowed once without additional fees.

Fashion and Editorial Photography

Designed for fashion brands, designers, and editorial publications. This package combines creativity with technical precision to produce high-quality images.

Rates: £800 – £1,500 per shoot

Includes:

  • Full or half-day shoot.

  • Pre-production consultation, including mood boards and styling direction.

  • Studio or on-location shooting.

  • 10–15 fully retouched images.

  • High-resolution images ready for print or web usage.

Commercial Photography

This service includes high-quality images for marketing, branding, and advertising purposes, making it perfect for brands, advertising campaigns, or lookbooks.

Rates: £1,500 – £4,000 per shoot

Includes:

  • Full or half-day shoot.

  • Pre-production meetings to ensure alignment on brand goals and creative direction.

  • 15–20 professionally retouched images.

  • Image licensing for commercial usage (web, print, billboards, etc.).

  • Delivery of high-resolution images.

Additional Services

  • Retouching: £30 per additional image
    High-end retouching for additional images beyond the included package. This includes skin retouching, colour correction, and fine detailing.

  • Expedited Delivery: £100
    If you need your images within 48 hours, expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

  • Licensing and Usage Fees
    Additional usage fees apply for commercial clients, depending on how the images will be used (online, print, advertising). These will be agreed upon during the consultation and factored into the total cost.

General Terms and Conditions:

  • Copyright: All images remain Edward Roy's copyright unless transferred through a separate licensing agreement. Clients are granted non-exclusive rights to use the photos for personal or agreed-upon commercial purposes.

  • Image Delivery: Depending on the project's scope, the final edited images will be delivered within 2–4 weeks after the shoot. Rush services are available for an additional fee.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. Deposits are non-refundable, but rescheduling is permitted once without additional fees. Last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours) may incur an extra 50% cancellation fee.

  • Payment: A nonrefundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking. Depending on the agreement, the balance is due either on the day of the shoot or upon delivery of the final images.

  • Travel Costs: Traveling beyond 30 miles from Poole, Dorset, will incur additional travel fees, which were agreed upon during the consultation.

  • Image Retention: Images will be available for download for 60 days. After this period, they may be archived or deleted unless specified otherwise.

  • Model Release: Clients must ensure that subjects have signed a model release form for commercial or editorial work.

Assisting Services & Rates

I provide professional photographic assisting services for photographers in various genres, including portraiture, fashion, editorial, and commercial shoots. With a solid understanding of studio lighting, on-location setups, and post-production workflows, I offer technical support and logistical assistance to ensure smooth and efficient shoots. Additionally, I can arrange to hire professional photography equipment as needed.

Assisting Rates

Half-Day (Up to 4 hours):
£120 – £180

Full-Day (Up to 8 hours):
£200 – £300

Additional hours beyond 8 hours will be charged an overtime rate of £80/hour.

What’s Included:

  • Studio Setup and Breakdown: Assisting with lighting, grip, and camera setup.

  • On-Location Setup: Coordinating equipment, managing lighting, and props.

  • Lighting Support: Managing strobes, continuous lights, and reflectors.

  • Equipment Handling: Assistance with cameras, lenses, and tethering.

  • Logistical Support: Client management, scheduled maintenance, and organizing props and gear.

  • Post-Shoot Wrap-Up: Packing equipment, securing files, and ensuring the studio or location is cleared.

  • Experience with digital and analogue photography: Familiarity with film handling, digital workflows, and basic retouching or editing assistance.

Equipment Hire Services

In addition to assisting you, I can arrange to hire professional-grade photography equipment to ensure your shoot runs smoothly.

  • Camera Bodies and Lenses: Full-frame DSLRs, mirrorless, and medium format analogue options.

  • Lighting Equipment: Studio strobes, continuous lights, softboxes, and modifiers.

  • Grip and Accessories: Stands, tripods, tethering setups, and reflectors.

Hire Fees: Prices vary depending on the equipment required. Please get in touch with me for a detailed quote and availability.

Additional Services

  • Digital Tech Assistance: Tethering support, file management, and backup during the shoot.
    £50 additional for the day.

  • Retouching Assistance: Basic retouching in Capture One/Photoshop for same day delivery or immediate post-production needs.
    £40/hour.

  • Transport Support: Assistance with packing and transporting gear to the location.
    £20–£50 (depending on distance and travel requirements).

Terms and Conditions:

  • Booking: A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due at the end of the shoot.

  • Overtime: For work that extends beyond the agreed time (either half or full day), overtime is charged at £80/hour.

  • Travel Fees: Additional travel expenses will apply for locations over 30 miles from Poole. This will be agreed upon before the booking.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Rescheduling is allowed once without penalty.

  • Image Ownership: All images and content remain the property of the primary photographer unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Equipment Hire: A security deposit may be required for equipment hire. The client is responsible for any damage or loss to hired equipment.
