Consultation
Every shoot begins with a personalized, in-depth consultation. We’ll collaborate closely to discuss your wardrobe, styling, and overall vision, ensuring every detail aligns with your brand or personal aesthetic.
I take time to understand your goals and the narrative you wish to convey, whether for a fashion editorial, commercial campaign, or portrait session.
This thoughtful pre-production process allows us to craft a seamless, tailored experience, resulting in images that meet and exceed your expectations.
Studio or Location
Whether in a controlled studio's refined setting or an on-location shoot's dynamic atmosphere, I tailor every environment to suit the creative vision best.
The studio offers precision in lighting and composition, ideal for capturing intricate details and controlled moods.
On-location shoots provide a natural, authentic backdrop, perfect for stories rooted in real-world contexts. Both options ensure the final images reflect the highest artistry, creativity, and technical precision.
Professional Editing
Every image undergoes meticulous, professional editing to ensure flawless results aligning with industry standards.
From precise colour grading and retouching to enhancing textures and maintaining natural skin tones, I bring out the finest details in each photograph while preserving authenticity.
My editing process is tailored to each project's unique vision, ensuring every image is polished, refined, and ready for print or digital use—whether it’s for an editorial spread, branding campaign, or personal portfolio.
Terms:
Booking and Deposit:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the shoot date. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final images.
Customised pricing and terms for more extensive campaigns or multi-day shoots will be provided.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the scheduled shoot date. Cancellations within 14 days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Rescheduling may be possible, depending on availability.
Force majeure (unforeseen circumstances) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Shoot and Production:
Shoots may be conducted in studio or on location as agreed during the pre-production consultation. Any changes to location or timing must be communicated at least 7 days in advance.
Additional fees will be charged for travel expenses beyond 30 miles from Poole, Dorset, which will be discussed before the booking.
Delivery of Images:
The final high-resolution images will be delivered within 2–4 weeks after the shoot, depending on the project scope. This timeframe may be extended for larger campaigns.
Expedited delivery may be available upon request for an additional fee.
Usage Rights and Licensing:
Image usage rights are granted based on the terms agreed upon during consultation. Licensing for commercial use (web, print, billboard, etc.) will incur additional fees unless otherwise specified.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the copyright for all images remains with Edward Roy. Extended usage or additional licensing beyond the original agreement will require additional fees.
Image Editing:
All images will be professionally retouched and edited to industry standards. Any additional requests for editing beyond the agreed deliverables may incur extra charges.
Raw files will not be provided unless agreed upon in advance.
Client Responsibilities:
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, permissions, and model releases before the shoot.
Any unforeseen delays or changes on the day of the shoot may result in additional charges.
Confidentiality and Privacy:
All personal and business information exchanged during the project will be confidential and not shared with third parties without prior consent.
Force Majeure:
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform its obligations if unforeseen events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters or accidents, cause such failure.
